NEWTON, Mass. – The Clark University volleyball team (3-3) traveled to Newton to take on Gordon (2-4) and Lasell (4-1) and came away with a 3-0 victory over Gordon before dropping a match to Lasell 3-1 on Saturday afternoon from the Lasell Athletic Center.

Clark 3, Gordon 0

• Clark won the first set 25-21, took the second and third sets by a 26-24 margin.
• The Cougars recorded 38 kills, 11 aces, five blocks, 33 assists, and 38 digs.
• Graduate student Victoria Pastor led the squad with 11 kills and added five digs.
• Graduate students Camille Flurry and Sofia Scherrer del Llano each tallied eight kills, Flurry also led the team in blocks (four).
• Senior Yvanna Torres (16) and sophomore Julia Dopazo (14) led the squad in assists.
• Junior Yumeng Liu led the Cougars in digs with 14.

Lasell 3, Clark 1

• Lasell took the first set 25-14, Clark won the second set 26-24, the Lasers won the final two sets 25-20, 25-14.
• Clark registered 39 kills, five aces, three blocks, 32 assists, and 42 digs.
• Pastor tallied a team-leading 11 kills and added nine digs.
• Flurry led the squad in kills with 10 and three blocks.
• Torres (15) and Dopazo (13) led the team in assists.
• Liu added a team-leading 11 digs.

What's Next
Clark will be back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Keene State for a non-conference matchup against the Owls beginning at 7:00 p.m.
