How it Happened

  • Saintilus scored six of Clark's final 11 points to end the half as Calabrese and McArdle also added buckets as the Cougars took a 41-37 lead into the half.
  • The scarlet and white blitzed the Seahawks out of the break with seven unanswered points sparked by a Richard three-pointer as well as baskets from McArdle and Saintilus to push the edge to 48-37.
  • McArdle netted Clark's next six points before first-year Boluwasefe John converted an and-one to push the lead to as many as 17 points at 59-42 with 13:48 to play.
  • After Salve cut it to 14 off a made triple from Pat Spenarrd, Calabrese hit a three-pointer and hit another triple shortly after as Clark held a 69-53 lead.
