PROVIDENCE, RI – The Clark University men's tennis team (5-0) competed in their road match of the season against RIC (0-1) and blanked the Anchormen 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon from the RIC Tennis Center.

How it Happened
Doubles: Clark 3, RIC 0

• First-year Benjamin Liu and senior Sai Chanda opened the day with a 6-2 victory over Ricky Dagostino and Hajji Glover in number three action.
• In number two doubles, junior Aris Kirkorian and sophomore Ziad Tabbara clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win against Ethan Clegg and John Vaughan.
• Seniors Edward Shepherd-Johnson and Graham Russo ended doubles with a sweep as they prevailed 6-2 over Travis Chartier and Kyle Neuendorf in number one play.

Singles: Clark 6, RIC 0

• Russo registered Clark's first singles point with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Liam Berube in number three action.
• In number five singles, Ved Rao recorded a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Travis Liese for his first collegiate win.
• First-year Petru Cojocaru also tallied his first collegiate victory with a 6-1, 6-3 win against Kyle O'Connor in number six play.
• Shepherd-Johnson registered a 6-3, 6-3 victory in number one action against Chartier.
• Liu tallied a 6-0, 7-5 win in number four play against Sairaj Srinivasan.
• In number two singles, Kirkorian and Clegg battled for three sets as Kirkorian took the first set 6-1, dropped the second set 6-7 (4-7), and won the tiebreak 10-8.
