HOPKINTON, N.H. – Clark University women's cross country placed sixth out of 12 teams in the 5K at the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival on Friday afternoon. 

How it Happened

• Junior Nicole Steele earned a medal with a top-ten finish in the field of 98, placing seventh with a time of 20:12.07.

• Senior Siobhan Connolly followed in 28th place, crossing the line at 21:01.61.

• Junior Mary Elena Morales (22:20.38), senior Abigail Gahagan (22:27.38), and senior Emmy Udry (23:42.90) each cracked the top sixty.

• Sophomore Antonia Schneider (24:57.20) and freshman Eleanor Klauder (25:03.10) ran the final stretch together, while junior Lily Vincent (26:15.61) closed out the race for the Cougars.

The Scarlet and White will prepare for next Saturday morning's meet as they travel to New London, Connecticut, for the Connecticut College Invitational, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
