ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Clark University women's cross country team competed at the NEWMAC Championships on Saturday morning, finishing twelfth overall. The Cougars sent 9 runners to the event and placed three inside the top 90. 

How it Happened

• Senior Siobhan Connolly (25:08.0) and junior Nicole Steele (25:12.0) led the Cougars, placing 56th and 59th, respectively.

• Senior Abigail Gahagan (26:39.7) and junior Mary Elena Morales (27:24.1) followed, with Gahagan cracking the top 90.

• A cluster of Cougars crossed next, including senior Emmy Udry (29:41.7), first-year Eleanor Klauder (30:01.9), sophomore Antonia Schneider (30:29.5), and junior Fatima Soussi (30:44.0).

• Junior Lily Vincent closed the day with a career-best 30:52.9, shaving nearly six seconds off her previous best.

What's Next

The scarlet and white now turn their attention to NCAA Regionals which start on November 15th, with races beginning at 11:00 AM in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
