Volleyball
When: Tuesday, October 14 at Smith at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18 vs. Wellesley at 2:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (1-13, 0-5 NEWMAC) will open their week with a road match at Smith before hosting Wellesley for their senior day game on Saturday. Sophomore Isabella Alcott leads the squad with 116 kills and has recorded 66 digs. Junior Harper Chinn is second on the team with 79 kills and 97 digs. Fellow junior Katelyn Williams has added 50 kills. Junior Julia Dopazo (161) and sophomore Hannah Harrington (108) lead the team in assists. Senior Yumeng Liu has tallied a team-high 130 digs. Sophomore Abigail Venis (28) and junior Winifred Gakidis (19) lead the squad in blocks. Smith (12-7, 3-2 NEWMAC) is led by Mia Etheridge who has recorded 202 kills and 31 service aces. Addison Klunder (93) and Alison Chapin (89) rank second and third on the squad in kills. Skye Higashihara (340) and Ruby Woodward (214) lead the Bears in assists. Ruth Tullis (150) and Etheridge (148) are the team-leaders in digs. Wellesley (7-8, 2-3 NEWMAC) is led by Kaija Kunze-Hoeg who has tallied 146 kills. Evie Hill has also registered over 100 kills with 109. Else Kunze-Hoeg (381) leads the squad in assists. Kaija Kunze-Hoeg (201) and Caroline Meyer (181) lead the team in digs.
 
Men's Soccer
When: Wednesday, October 15 at Anna Maria at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18 vs. Emerson at 2:00 p.m.
What: The Cougars (3-7-2, 0-3-1 NEWMAC) are set to close out non-conference play on Wednesday before playing a home NEWMAC game against Emerson. Junior Carter Benoff, senior Ben Siegel, and first-year Shahmeer Waseem have each tallied four points. Senior Henry Kuerbis has added a goal and an assist. Senior Diego Marin has tallied 48 saves, a GAA of 1.40, and posted three shutouts. Anna Maria (3-8-1) is led by Kyle Brocker who has scored six goals and dished out an assist. Nils Cofalka has added four goals. In net, Romain Baert has recorded 45 saves and a pair of wins. Emerson (3-5-5, 0-3-1 NEWMAC) has earned a draw against Salve Regina and fell to Springfield, Wheaton, and Coast Guard. Kyler Maira leads the Lions with three goals and an assist. Alex Lucas, Jason Karas, Cade Mallett, and Nick Mirogiannis have also scored a pair of goals. Asa Roberts has tallied 33 saves and a pair of shutouts.
 
Field Hockey
When: Wednesday, October 15 vs. Keene State at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18 at Babson at 12:00 p.m. 
What: The scarlet and white (8-5, 0-5 NEWMAC) will play a pair of games this week, opening with a home game against Keene State and closing out the week with an away fixture at Babson. Senior Alison Kopec leads the team with seven assists and has scored six goals, which is good for 19 points. Senior Elizabeth Cacciapaglia, first-year Olivia Bass, senior Jenna Beauchain, and senior Morgan Brown have all scored seven goals. First-year Sedona Lee has added five goals and three assists. Junior Rachel Reiter has stopped 63 shots and owns a GAA of 2.27. Keene State (10-4) is led by Grace Bazin who has scored 26 goals and dished out six assists. Grace Seabury and Meghan Daileanes have added seven goals each. Clara Gorman has stopped 69 shots and earned 10 wins in net. No. 4 Babson (12-1, 5-0 NEWMAC) is led by Penny Baroni who has scored nine goals and dished out four assists. Caroline DiGiovanni has netted 11 goals. Madison Tibbals has stopped 48 shots and earned 11 wins in net.
 
Women's Soccer
When: Wednesday, October 15 vs. MIT at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18 vs. Coast Guard at 11:00 a.m.
What: The Cougars (5-3-4, 1-2-2 NEWMAC) earned their first NEWMAC win of the year last week with a thrilling 5-4 victory over Smith. Sophomore Georgia Louis leads the Cougars with seven goals and seven assists. Fellow sophomore Solimar Rivera has tallied six goals and four assists. Senior Emma Shaughnessy has scored five goals. First-year Calabria Augustino has dished out five assists and scored a pair of goals. Junior Ava Lepro has stopped 11 shots, earned a pair of wins, and posted two shutouts. No. 8 MIT (12-2-0, 5-0-0 NEWMAC) is led by Natalie Barnouw who has scored 11 goals and dished out nine assists. Maeve Sullivan has added 10 goals and a pair of assists. In net, Ava Muffoletto has tallied 16 saves, earned 10 wins, and nine combined shutouts. Coast Guard (1-10-2, 0-5-0 NEWMAC) is led by Bella Brittain who has scored two goals and dished out an assist. Mia Carabajal-Hartog has added two goals. Julia Little has stopped 38 shots and posed three shutouts.
 
Cross Country
When: Women's Cross Country: Saturday, October 18 at Connecticut College Invitational at 10:00 a.m., Men's Cross Country: Saturday, October 18 at Connecticut College Invitational at 10:00 a.m.,
What: The Cougars competed in their breast cancer awareness meet last week at the Hopkinton Invitational. Sophomore Summit Smoker led the team with a mark of 26:21.68, which ranked 24th among the field. First-year William Stone finished second on the squad with a time of 27:57.03. First-year Benjamin Pennington (28:46.52), senior William Pulvino (29:17.15), and first-year David Seniuk (29:24.89) rounded out the top five. On the women's side, junior Nicole Steele finished seventh with a mark of 20:12.07. Senior Siobhan Connolly placed second on the squad with a time of 21:01.61. Junior Mary Elena Morales (22:20.38), senior Abigail Gahagan (22:27.38), and senior Emmy Udry (23:42.90) rounded out the top five.
