SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Clark University field hockey (9-8, 1-7 NEWMAC) traveled to Mount Holyoke (6-10, 1-7) for each team's third-to-last game of the regular season. The Lyons took control early, building a 3-0 lead before ultimately closing out a 5-1 victory.

Mount Holyoke broke open the scoring with six minutes remaining in the first quarter, capitalizing on their penalty corner with a goal by Zoey Candito.

Junior Rachel Reiter made back-to-back saves with four minutes left in the quarter to keep the score at 1-0 heading into the first break.

Clark fired four shots on goal in the second quarter but couldn't get past Ainsley Gruener, who preserved the Lyons' 1-0 lead at halftime.
