How it Happened

  • Senior Morgan Brown nearly gave the Cougars the lead early in the second, but had her shot saved by Hannah Jalowiec and Reiter tallied another save.
  • In the 25th minute, Kopec fired a ball into the circle that was touched by Bass and Bass found the back of the cage as Clark took a 1-0 lead.
  • Reiter kept the Cougars in front before the half with three saves over the final five minutes and in the third quarter, Clark held Eastern Connecticut State without a shot as they took a 1-0 edge into the fourth.
