WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University women's soccer (4-2-4, 0-1-2 NEWMAC) hosted Emerson College (4-3-3, 2-4-1 NEWMAC) in a tightly contested battle that went the distance, ending in a scoreless draw.

The Cougars had the first opportunity of the match in the 8th minute, as sophomore Georgia Louis fired a shot on goal that was turned aside.

Sophomore Madeleine Reeves added another chance in the 19th minute, but her effort was also stopped.

Emerson's best look came in the 78th minute of the second half, but junior Ava Lepro came up with the save to preserve the clean sheet.

Those proved to be the only three shots on goal in the contest, as both goalkeepers stood tall to secure a 0-0 draw.
