WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark women's basketball team (11-13, 3-7 NEWMAC) welcomed Springfield (14-10, 6-4 NEWMAC) to the Kneller for their senior day game against the Pride and fell 56-48 on Wednesday night.

Alaina Schatzabel were honored prior to the game.
How it Happened
- The Pride jumped out to an early 13-3 lead sparked by eight points from Angie Czeremcha and the Clark triple came from sophomore Kailey Rios before the Cougars rattled off eight straight points with four from both first-year Cyriah Coleman and sophomore Catherine Antwi to pull them within two at 13-11.
- Coleman closed out the quarter with a pair of made free throws before Rios netted the Cougars first four points of the second quarter to help tie the contest at 17-17 with 7:42 remaining in the period.
- Schatzabel then made a layup to give Clark a lead and after six unanswered from the Pride, sophomore Bella Galatt connected on a triple as the Cougars trailed 25-22 at the half.
- Coleman hit a three-pointer right out of the half to tie the game before Springfield netted seven straight points, but Clark battled back with nine straight points as Coleman and Antwi each hit triples, sophomore Emma Drefs made a layup, and a Schatzabel layup gave the Cougars a 34-32 edge.
- Antwi scored the Cougars final four points of the third as Clark trailed 39-38 and an Antwi triple to open the fourth gave the scarlet and white the lead back.
- A made jumper from Coleman off a feed from Rios to push the lead to four at 43-39 before Springfield rattled off 15 unanswered points to take a 54-43 edge.
- Rios and Coleman combined for Clark's final five points of the contest as the Cougars fell 56-48.

- Clark grabbed 37 rebounds, forced 19 turnovers, made 18 shots, and dished out 13 assists.
- Coleman led the Cougars with 16 points and added nine rebounds.
