WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University men's tennis team (3-7, 0-2 NEWMAC) welcomed MIT (2-3, 1-0 NEWMAC) on Saturday afternoon to the Corash Tennis Courts and were bested 7-0 by the Engineers.

Singles: MIT 6, Clark 0
- Hovey battled with Liu in number five singles and played a competitive 6-7 (9-11) first set before falling 0-6 in the second set.
- Tabbara also earned a tiebreak in his first set of number three play against Im, but dropped the match 6-7 (2-7), 2-6.
- In number four singles, Russo combined to win six games across two sets before ultimately falling 3-6, 3-6 to Yu.
- Shepherd-Johnson took on MIT's number one in Chourdhary and won four games (4-6) in the first set and dropped the second set 1-6.
- Kirkorian (2-6, 1-6) and graduate student Tanner Honnef (0-6, 3-6) each combined to win three games as both fell in their respective number two and six singles matches.
What's Next
The scarlet and white will return to the court on Wednesday afternoon when they travel to Assumption for a match beginning at 3:30 p.m.
