Saintilus Earns d3hoops.com All-Region and NABC All-District Accolades

WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University senior Bruce Saintilus was named to the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District First Team and d3hoops.com All-Region Second Team as announced earlier this week.

This is the second straight year in which Saintilus has earned a spot on both the NABC and d3hoops. Saintilus now ends his career with two NABC First Team All-District, one d3hoops.com First Team All-Region, and two First Team All-NEWMAC honors.

"Congratulations to Bruce for earning D3Hoops.com All-Region and NABC All-District selections for a second straight season," said head coach Tyler Simms. "Bruce had a tremendous career at Clark climbing into the top 10 all-time scoring list with 1,560 career points, and will undoubtedly go down as one of the all-time greats in a packed list of tremendous Clark Men's Basketball players. This season, and when we needed it most in NEWMAC play, Bruce scored at a very high rate with extreme efficiency shooting 52.9% FG, 52.4% 3P, and 76.7% FT. He also worked really hard to become a great decision maker ranking 2nd in NEWMAC and top 50 in the NCAA."

Saintilus (Plainville, Mass.) led the team and ranked third in the NEWMAC in points per game (17.9), while leading the conference in free throws made (120) and attempted (152), and was second in the league in assists per night (4.7). Saintilus also pulled down 4.0 rebounds per game and reached double-figures in 25 games this season. Earlier in the season, Saintilus was also named to the D3hoops Team of the Week and was NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week.

"Bruce truly cared about doing whatever our team needed and he showed it this season helping Clark to our fifth NEWMAC championship and our 17th NCAA Tournament appearance. Bruce contributed to winning in every way – with his work ethic and leadership, with his defensive energy and ability, with his scoring and creating for his teammates when he got double-teamed. No matter what it took to win – Bruce not only had the ability to do it, but the desire to help our team win."
