Men's Tennis Edged by Spring Arbor University in Spring Break Finale

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Clark University men's tennis team (3-6) closed out their spring break trip against Spring Arbor University and were edged 4-3 on Wednesday night.

Doubles: Spring Arbor 2, Clark 0 Singles: Clark 3, Spring Arbor 3
  • Kirkorian recorded Clark's first win in singles with a convincing 8-3 victory in number two singles.
  • Russo tallied a victory in number four action with an 8-4 win.
  • In number six singles, graduate student Tanner Honnef recorded an 8-4 victory.
  • Shepherd-Johnson (6-8), first-year Ziad Tabbara (2-8), and Hovey (3-8) all competed in number one, three, and five action.
What's Next
The Cougars will compete in their second NEWMAC match of the year when they welcome MIT to Corash for a contest at 12:00 p.m.
