BABSON PARK, Mass. – The Clark University men's lacrosse team (8-6, 1-5 NEWMAC) traveled to Babson (11-4, 5-1 NEWMAC) for their final road game of the regular season and dropped the contest 19-3 to the Beavers on Saturday afternoon from MacDowell Field.

Matthew Minkwitz broke the program record in points in a season with 72 after tallying two goals, which supplanted Johnson's 70 points in 2015.
How it Happened
- Clark jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as senior Matt Wells netted a man-up goal off a feed from graduate student Patrick Liddy less than a minute into the game as graduate student Jason Tautel scooped up a ground ball to get the Cougars possession.
- After Babson netted two goals, Wells fired a shot on goal that was saved before McCullough saved three shots, but the Beavers ended the quarter with four more goals to take a 6-1 lead into the second.
- First-year Spencer Arzanipour won the opening faceoff in the second before Babson rattled off four more goals and junior Brayden Grainger fired a shot that was saved midway through the second.
- McCullough tallied another save before the break and Wells put a shot on target that was stopped as the Beavers took a 15-1 lead into the half.
- In the third, Liddy, Wells, and Minkwitz all saw shots saved and graduate student Jacob Wharton caused a turnover as Babson led 17-1 entering the fourth.
- Minkwitz broke the program record off a feed from sophomore Eric Aswad late in the fourth quarter and added a second goal as the Cougars fell 19-3.
