WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University men's tennis team (1-0) earned their first win of the year as they coasted to a 7-0 victory over UMass Boston (1-1) on Wednesday afternoon from the Corash Tennis Courts.

• First-year Benjamin Liu and senior Graham Russo tallied their first win of the season in number two doubles with a 6-0 result against Tavassoli and Malone.
• Seniors Fergus Brady and Sai Chanda clinched the doubles point for Clark in number three action with a 6-1 victory over Song and Saravana Rakshana.
• In number one doubles, junior Aris Kirkorian and sophomore Ziad Tabbara recorded a 6-3 victory over Kubinec and Dwyer.

Singles: Clark 6, UMass Boston 0

• Sophomore Daniel Levin earned Clark's first singles point as he held a 4-1 lead prior to Song retiring in number five action.
• In number two singles, Russo tallied his second win of the day with a convincing 6-2, 6-0 victory against Kubinec.
• Senior Edward Shepherd-Johnson clinched the match for the scarlet and white with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Dwyer in number one play.
• Liu recorded his first career singles victory with a 6-2, 6-3 result against Tavassoli in number three play.
• In number six play, Brady recorded a 6-2, 6-4 win over Saravana Rakshana.
• Sophomore Ethan Montane registered a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Malone in number four play to close out the day.
