WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University men's tennis team (2-0) rallied after dropping the doubles point to top Roger Williams (0-1) 4-3 on Saturday afternoon from the Corash Tennis Courts.

Doubles: Roger Williams 2, Clark 1
- First-year Benjamin Liu and senior Sai Chanda earned a win in number three doubles with a thrilling 7-5 win against Taylor and Rodriguez Alcocer.
- Seniors Graham Russo and Edward Shepherd-Johnson battled with Desisto and Carroll in number one doubles and forced a tiebreak before falling 6-7 (7-9).
- In number one two action, junior Aris Kirkorian and sophomore Ziad Tabbara dropped their match 2-6 to Hurlbut and Poitras.
Singles: Clark 4, Roger Williams 2
- Tabbara clinched Clark's first point of the day with a convincing 6-2, 6-3 win over Taylor in number three play.
- Shepherd-Johnson won an entertaining match against Desisto 7-5, 2-6, and clinched with a 10-8 tiebreak victory in number one play.
- In number five singles, Liu recorded a convincing 6-2, 6-0 win against Hurlbut to earn the squads third point.
- Russo clinched the match with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Poitras in number four play.
- Kirkorian played a competitive match with Carroll that went the distance in number two action, but dropped the match 6-2, 2-6, 6-10.
- Sophomore Ethan Montane won a combined eight games, but fell 4-6, 4-6 to Rodriguez Alcocer in number six action.

Clark will return to the court on Wednesday afternoon when they welcome Gordon to Corash for a match beginning at 3:30 p.m.
