DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Clark University men's cross country competed at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair XC Invitational in the 8k run on Saturday morning from the Robert Dowd Course.

How it Happened

• Sophomore Summit Smoker registered a time of 26:23.67, which was the fastest on the squad.
• Junior Robert Burton placed second on the team after clocking a time of 27:47.94.
• First-year William Stone finished just behind Burton with a frame of 27:56.47.
• Fellow first-year Calvin Hillis Piecyk clocked a time of 30:04.64.
• Junior Gage Delgado (30:32.05) and senior William Pulvino (30:56.19) placed fifth and sixth on the squad.
• First-year David Seniuk (31:02.38), sophomore Nathaniel Storck (31:12.33), and first-year Rodeo Purves-Langer (31:52.65) ran for the Cougars.
• Junior Miles Caponi (33:05.23), Samuel Wong (33:15.87), Michael Manley (36:49.09), and Nathan Crozier (41:26.69) also competed.

The scarlet and white will return to action on Friday, October 10 when they compete at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup from the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.
