WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University softball head coach Katelyn Barton unveiled the 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The Cougars are set to compete in 40 games this season, with 18 at home and 22 away. The scarlet and white return 19 players from last year's team, including sophomore Avery Della Piana who batted .297, while adding 21 RBI's and 22 hits. Junior Charlise Quigley registered 22 hits and 20 runs across 83 at-bats. Senior Brooke Buzzeo and Megan Dube also are back after earning seven wins and 10 complete games on the bump a season ago. At the dish, Dube added 27 hits and 19 RBI's.

Clark will open their 2026 season with 10 games in Florida. The campaign begins against Simmons (Mar. 1) and Johnson and Wales N.C. (Mar. 1) before taking on Norwich (Mar. 2) and Bluffton (Mar. 2).

The scarlet and white will close out the Florida trip with contests against Saint Vincent (Mar. 3), Susquehanna (Mar. 3), Chatham (Mar. 5), Johnson and Wales (Mar. 5), Elizabethtown (Mar. 6), and Carnegie Mellon (Mar. 6).

The Cougars will then host three straight series, opening with Anna Maria (Mar. 14), then Regis (Mar. 18), and closing out with Worcester State (Mar. 24). Clark opens NEWMAC play on Saturday, March 28 when they travel to Coast Guard. The scarlet and white then open April with home games against Springfield (Apr. 3) and Framingham State (Apr. 8).

After traveling to Wellesley (Apr. 10), Clark will return home to take on MIT (Apr. 11). The Cougars hit the road for six games starting with Salve Regina (Apr. 17), then Smith (Apr. 18), and close with Emmanuel (Apr. 22).

The scarlet and white then host Emerson (Apr. 24) before playing their final road series of the year at Babson (Apr. 25). The Cougars close out their season with home games against Wheaton (May 1) and WPI (May 2).
