BABSON PARK, Mass. – The No. 3 Clark University women's basketball team (18-8) will travel to No. 2 Babson (18-8) for the NEWMAC Semifinal on Friday night from Staake Gymnasium.
The Cougars have reached the NEWMAC Tournament for the 18th time and won their first game since 2017 with a 65-53 victory over WPI on Wednesday night, which has earned them their eighth Semifinal appearance in program history. Clark will be looking to reach their sixth NEWMAC Championship in program history.

She posted double-doubles against Salem State and Wesleyan.
- First-year Atiya Watson averages 10.9 points, 3.0 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per night. She ranks second among all NEWMAC first-years in points, while ranking sixth in the league in steals per game. Watson has reached double-figures in 14 contests this season, including a career-high 22 points against Suffolk.
- Junior Kailey Rios is averaging 9.8 points and has connected on a team-high 52 three-pointers, which ranks fourth in the conference. She has reached double-figures in 12 games, including scoring a season-high 23 points against Wesleyan. Rios has connected on four or more three-pointers in five different games.
- Fellow junior Catherine Antwi adds 8.7 points and a team-high 2.2 steals per night, which ranks fifth in the NEWMAC. She has buried 38 three-pointers, which is tied for second on the squad. Antwi has reached double-figures 14 times, including a season-high 16 points against Emerson.
- Shipley ranks second in the NEWMAC in blocks per game with an average of 1.8 blocks. She blocked a career-high six shots in a conference win over Salve Regina. Shipley pulled down 10 rebounds against Coast Guard.
Scouting the Beavers
- Babson registered a 92-68 victory over Coast Guard in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals and won nine conference contests during the regular season.
- The Beavers average 66.4 points, 42.3 rebounds, 14.7 assists, and 8.0 steals, while holding opponents to 59.6 points per game.
- Flynn averages 14.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, with the scoring and assist averages ranking fifth in the NEWMAC. She has reached double-digits in 19 games, including a season-high 34-point effort against Salve Regina. Flynn posted a triple-double against Albertus Magnus with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists and recorded five double-doubles.
- Rylie Rosenberg also averages in double-figures for the Beavers with at 11.1 points per night. She has reached double-figures 16 times and has scored at least 13 points in each of her past four games. In the NEWMAC Quarterfinal, she posted a season-high 23 points and hit seven three-pointers.
- Chloe Perreault has added 7.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. She tallied double-doubles against both Wellesley and Salve Regina. The senior has reached double-figures in eight games this season and grabbed 10 or more rebounds in five contests.
