WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University Men's Lacrosse (0-2) hosted Endicott College (2-0) in another early-season matchup at Granger field. The Gulls pulled away early and never looked back on their way to a 19-5 win.
How it Happened

Travis Foster won the opening faceoff and scored just five seconds later to give Endicott an early advantage. Manny Marshall added another goal a minute later to make it 2-0.

Tommy Tyksinski scored while down a man, and Brody MacDonald followed with a goal 30 seconds later to push the lead to 4-0 with 10:49 remaining in the first quarter.

Both defenses settled in before junior Eric Aswad found the back of the net with just over a minute left in the period to get Clark on the board. However, Marshall answered with 23 seconds remaining, sending Endicott into the second quarter with a 5-1 lead.

Clark struck first in the second as junior John Golioto scored, but the Gulls responded quickly with a goal from Shane Dean.

Endicott then added three goals in a three-minute span from MacDonald, Tyksinski, and Joseph Tumolo.

The Gulls continued to apply pressure, scoring four goals in the final four minutes of the half to take a commanding 13-2 lead into the break.

After two more Endicott goals to open the third quarter, junior Jason Shackley netted Clark's third goal of the game with 6:15 remaining in the period.

The Gulls added two more goals before the end of the quarter to carry a 17-3 advantage into the final frame.

Senior Brett Newman opened the fourth-quarter scoring with a goal two minutes in.

Following two more Endicott tallies, junior Luke Nufer delivered a perfect pass to Golioto for his second goal of the game and Clark's fifth. That would be the final score of the contest as Endicott secured a 19-5 victory.
