WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University men's soccer team (1-4-2) hosted Endicott College (3-2-2) in a non-conference match on Tuesday night. The Cougars drew level after an opening goal from the Gulls, but three second-half goals from Endicott proved to be the difference as they secured the 4-1 win on the road.
How it Happened

First-year Julian Dubash fired the first shot on goal of the match in the fifth minute, one of three Clark shots in that time frame, with the other two both being blocked before reaching the goal. Senior Jaime Pedraza would make his first save of the game in the 9th minute.

Endicott would open the scoring five minutes later, with Kaio Morais and Cole Loisel assisting the go-ahead strike from Tyler Walser.

Clark would add their own goal in the 21st minute, with senior Marc Kim calmly burying a penalty kick to make it 1-1. He would add a shot on goal two minutes later but it would be saved away to keep the game tied.

The Cougars would fire the final four shots of the half, but all would sail wide as the half ended deadlocked at 1-1.

Following two wide shots to start the second half by the Gulls, Drew McClay-Ward & Walser would team up to assist Garrett Scagliarini, pulling ahead again 2-1.

Endicott would add to their lead in the 67th minute, with Loisel scoring unassisted to make it a two goal advantage.

Clark would generate chances, with a header from first-year Owen Bergin sailing just wide and a pair of shots from senior Myles Nelson-Atkins getting blocked.

The Gulls would add their third goal of the half in the 82nd minute, with Scagliarini getting a brace with an unassisted goal to the bottom corner of the net. This would be the final shot of the game as the final horn sounded with the score at 4-1.
