Northampton, Mass. - The Pioneers won their last dual match of the season today with a decisive 9-0 defeat of Clark University in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action.

With the victory, Smith improved to 4-3 on the season and in NEWMAC competition while Clark fell to 2-11 overall and 0-7 in the league.

The Pioneers will compete in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT) this weekend before entering the NEWMAC Championship to be held at MIT on October 24 & 25.
