Seniors Go Out In Style With 7-2 Win

Worcester, Mass. - Playing in their final collegiate matches, Clark seniors Andrea Nathan (Saddle River, N.J.) and Phoebe Livingston (Jamestown, R.I.) both played a significant hand in the Cougars collecting their third win of the season, this one a 7-2 non-league decision over Worcester State on Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, Clark wraps up its 2009 season at 3-11, while the Lancers end at 4-9.

Nathan teamed up with Julia Bergeron (Lewiston, Maine) to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-0.

Meanwhile, Livingston collected a pair of victories. First at No. 5 singles over Lauren Cain, 6-0, 6-0 and then with Emily Schweitzer (Northampton, Mass) at No. 2 doubles, 8-0.

Worcester State's two wins came from Courteney Blais at No. 2 singles and at No. 3 doubles behind the duo of Nicole Sellner and Danielle Lehman.
