North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Clark
University men's and women's cross country squads
finished 22nd and 23rd, respectively, at the 2010 Shriners
Invitational hosted by UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday morning.
Joe Kennelly (New Windsor, N.Y.) was the
men's top finisher, wrapping up the 8K course in 27:29. He
was followed by Martin Leggett (Easton, Pa.) with
a time of 28:02 and freshman Rob Gammell
(Mattapoisett, Mass.) at 28:26.
On the women's side, Clark was paced by Zoe
Greenberg (Arlington, Mass.) with a time of 20:36 good for
116th place over the 6K layout. She was followed by Isabel
Burgess (Cumberland Foreside, Maine) (20:42) and
Erika Roth (Saco, Maine) (20:48).
Both teams are back in action on Saturday when they take part in
the Worcester City Championships at Moore State Park in Paxton,
Mass.
