Freshmen Lead The Way At Earley Invitational

Westfield, Mass. – Freshman Saraneh Fitzgerald (Norfolk, Mass.) was Clark's top finisher as the Cougars turned in a 23rd place finish at the annual James Earley Invitational on Saturday morning at Stanley Park.

Fitzgerald wrapped up the 5K course in 21:35, good for 95th place, while classmate Alex Jeannotte (Agawam, Mass.) was the next Clark finisher in 114th place in a time of 21:55.

Another freshman, Kelsey Herod (Lancaster, N.Y.) was the third Cougar to cross the line in 151st place, completing the course layout in 22:52. Right on her heels was Heather White (Brookline, Mass.) in 152nd place in 22:53.

Clark is next in action next Saturday when they take part in the Golden Bear Invitational hosted by Western New England University.
