Williamstown, Mass. – Clark University had three runners finish in the top 200 and the Cougars finished in 31st place at the NCAA Division III Regional Championships at Mount Greylock High School.
Colby College took home top team honors as they had four of their five scoring runners finish in the top 20, while Williams College's Colin Cotton, running on his home course, laid claim to the individual title with an impressive time of 25:10 over the 8K layout.
Junior John Allard (Smithfield, R.I.) was the Scarlet and White's top finisher, completing the race in 27:44.3, good for 123rd place.
He was followed by promising freshman Alex Hull (Mount Laurel, N.J.) in 174th place (28:35.0) and Seamus O'Connor (Granby, Mass.) in 177th (28:38.3).
Rhys Duquette (Holyoke, Mass.) finished in 207th place for Clark, churning out a time of 29:06.7 while Sam Smith (Chicago, Ill.) was the final scoring runner in 214th position (29:20.1).
