Men's Cross Country Finishes 11th At Saratoga Invitational

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Clark University men's cross country team churned out an 11th place finish at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by RPI at the Saratoga State Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Lead:
Junior Alex Hull (Mount Laurel, N.J.) paced the Clark contingent with a 66th place finish, crossing the finish line in 28:03 over the 8K layout.

The Rundown:
Junior Ryan VanDine (Bolton, Conn.) was 113th (29:41).
Freshman Thomas Alden (Groton, Mass.) finished 119th (29:57).
Senior Samuel Smith (Hopkinton, N.H.) was 121st (30:02).
Freshman Satchel Smith (Treasure Island, Fla.) finished 133rd (30:45).
Sophomore Isaac Stone (Natick, Mass.) was 146th (31:51).
Ethan Winslow (Pittsfield, Mass.) finished 153rd (32:21).

Coach Speak:
"Great race by the men's team with a lot of PR's and some great running by the middle pack with Tom and Sam running great races," said Clark University head coach Bill Gray.

The Cougars return to action on Saturday when they take part in the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State.
