HOW IT HAPPENED
-For doubles matches, Anna Gates (North Scituate, RI) and Elizabeth Garfield (Cape Elizabeth, ME) fell to the pair of Jarvis and Donovan, 8-2. Clark's Maggie Tarbox (Lebanon, CT) and Chloe Dunnell (Montclair, NJ) loss 8-3 to Regis's Katelyn Mogelnicki and Lauren Mogelnecki. Lastly, Kathryn Benson (Hudson, MA) and Zahara Shidad (Lewiston, ME) were bested by the No. 3 duo of Boodakian and Fitzpatrick.
-In singles, Gates was defeated by Carly Donovan 6-1, 6-0. Katasha Jarvis of Regis had a close victory over Clark's Garfield, 6-4 and 7-5. In an exciting three set match, No. 3 K. Mogelnicki bested Tarbox with scores of 6-1, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6). Benson fell in two sets to L. Mogelnicki. 6-2, 6-4. For Clark in No. 5 singles, Dunnell was taken down by Fitzpatrick, 6-3 and 6-2. Clark Senior Kaylyn Landahl (Brookfield, IL) competed in No. 6 singles today and was defeated by Boodakian 6-0, 6-2.
UP NEXT
-Clark has three matches left this fall, their next is at home this Saturday. Curry College comes to Worcester (10/6) for a noon start.
