Doubles
• At No. 1 doubles Clark sophomore Hannah Russo and first-year Leilani Brown fell 8-1 to Place and Cahoon.
• Graduate student Ellie Garfield and junior Liliya Georgista lost 8-1 at No. 2 doubles for the Cougars.
• The Hawks completed the sweep of doubles with an 8-2 over Clark juniors Nardin Sayoufi and Maeve McEnroe.
Singles
• Russo fell 6-3, 6-0 to Place at No. 1 singles.
• Brown, Garfield, and McEnroe all fell to the Hawks, who ran their lead to 7-0 with wins at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 5 singles.
• Sayoufi put up a strong fight for the scarlet and white at No. 6 despite not coming up with the win.
• Finally Georgista had the closest match of the day, falling 7-5, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
What's Next
The Cougars will host Bridgewater State next Thursday in their home opener.
