BOSTON, Mass.- The Cougars (2-2) picked up a win on Saturday against Simmons (7-4) from Simmons Courts in Boston.
After picking up two of the three points in doubles, Clark capitalized on the momentum, taking four of the six singles matches for a 6-3 victory.

Doubles
•The Sharks took an early lead at No. 3 doubles defeating a Clark team of juniors Nardin Sayoufi and Maeve McEnroe.
•The Cougars struck back at No. 2 doubles, with junior Liliya Georgista and first-year Leilani Brown capturing an 8-1 win.
•The scarlet and white made it 2-1 with an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Sophomore Hannah Russo and junior Andrea Osses Konig won for the Cougars.
Singles
•Russo cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles for Clark.
•The Sharks cut the lead to 3-2 with a close three-set victory over Brown at No. 2 singles.
•The Cougars secured the victory with wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. Georgista and Osses Konig both notched straight-set wins for Clark.
•McEnroe won her second straight singles match for Clark with a 6-2, 7-6(4) match at No. 5.
•The Sharks got their third and final point with a nail-bitter No. 6 singles match. Sayoufi battled for the Cougars and nearly won, ultimately falling 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
What's Next
The Cougars look to make it two in a row on Thursday when they take on Rhode Island College. The match takes at the RI Tennis Complex and begins at 3:30 p.m.
