Men's Cross Country Competes at Connecticut College Invitational

WATERFORD, Conn. – The Clark University men's cross country team competed in their final event prior to NEWMAC Championships today at the Connecticut College Invitational in the 8k event from Harkness Park.

Coach Mauro's Thoughts

Ryan went out hard and regained control mid race to run sub 30. Evan hung close to Ryan and ran a really tactile race.  Kevin, Adam, and Alec held as a strong pack for the first two miles. They each then broke off to all have strong performances! Ethan had an awesome kick! Sam ran a really great race and has been incredibly consistent no matter how he is feeling at the starting line.  John ran another phenomenal race and only his second 8K ever finishing 3rd as a first-year walk-on for the cougars. Noah also ran another strong and strategic race. Jack battled it out today! Will worked on finding his groove and race pattern this week, adding another piece to the puzzle!
