Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. – The Clark University women's tennis team (1-1) traveled to Roger Williams (1-0) for their first road match of the season and fell 9-0 to the Hawks on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened

• In number one doubles, sophomore Merielle Kane and graduate student Maeve McEnroe fell 8-2.
• Sophomore Crisi Patel and first-year Olivia Shipley dropped their match in number two doubles 8-1.
• Junior Emma Allen and first-year Winifred Gakidis won three games in number three doubles, but lost 8-3.
• In number one singles, senior Hannah Russo fell 6-0, 6-2.
• McEnroe (No. 2), Patel (No. 5), and Gakidis (No. 6) each won a game across two sets as they fell 6-1, 6-0.
• Kane (No. 3) won a game in each set and Shipley (No. 4) won three games across two sets.

Clark will be back in action on Thursday afternoon with a road match at RIC beginning at 3:30 p.m.
