WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Clark University women's cross country ran in their third event of the season on Saturday morning and placed fifth overall in the 6k event.
Coach Mauro's Thoughts
The women's team had a great race today! They worked together to place 5
th overall! Sophia ran an incredibly strong race only 1 second off her PR! Siobhan and Abbie worked as a pack for most of the race! They stuck together and finished strong to bring Siobhan a new PR of 10 seconds and a season's best for Abbie! Lily C came into this race hungry, and she left it all out on the course! She pushed herself and placed first for Clark, exemplifying what it means to be a leader on and off the course! Wynne and Lily V stuck together for most of the race, pushing each other the whole way through. They demonstrated what it means to race like a team! Emma achieved her goal of being calm, cool, and collected at the start! She powered out of that starting box and ran a race that she can be proud of!
