HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Clark University women's cross country team finished 11th overall at the NCAA Regionals on Saturday morning from the Hopkinton Fairgrounds, which was their best finish dating back to 2009.
The Cougars tallied a total score of 343, while placing ahead of WPI, Babson, Emerson, and Wheaton from the NEWMAC. The 11th place finish was 15 spots ahead of last year's regionals.

Ruby Krasnow earned her second All-Region accolade during her time as a Cougar, with the other coming in 2022. Krasnow will find out tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. whether or not she will reach the NCAA Championships.
How it Happened
- Krasnow placed fifth overall with a time of 21:58.10, which earned her a spot on the All-Region Team and was just behind Catherine Mongan of Colby College.
- Senior Lily Carey placed second on the squad with a mark of 24:10.77, which was good for 65th overall.
- Junior Siobhan Connolly registered a PR in the 6k with a time of 24:45.48 as she placed 84th.
- Sophomore Nicole Steele finished just behind Connolly in 86th, with a mark of 24:54.55.
- Sophomore Mary Elena Morales (25:36.48), junior Abigail Gahagan (26:21.75), and sophomore Fatima Soussi (29:18.71) rounded out the Cougars top seven.
