WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Clark University women's cross country team placed eighth overall at the 2024 NEWMAC Championships from the Nehoiden Golf Club on Saturday morning.
The Cougars placed eighth with 208 points, which put them ahead of Salve Regina (237), WPI (258), Emerson (265), and Wheaton (267).
Senior
Ruby Krasnow earned her second All-NEWMAC accolade after placing eighth overall.
How it Happened
- Krasnow led the Cougars with an eighth overall finish, clocking a time of 22:02.7.
- Senior Lily Carey finished second on the team and 40th overall with a mark of 23:55.1.
- Junior Siobhan Connolly set a PR with a time of 24:57.2, which was good for 60th overall.
- Sophomore Nicole Steele placed fourth among the Cougars with a mark of 25:12.9, 67th overall.
- Junior Abigail Gahagan (26:31.0), sophomore Mary Elena Morales (26:58.8), and sophomore Fatima Soussi (29:33.6) rounded out the top seven.
- Sophomore Lily Vincent (32:10.8) and first-year Antonia Schneider (33:45.2) also ran for Clark.
What's Next
The Cougars will close out the fall when they travel to Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 16 for the NCAA Regionals.
