WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University women's tennis team (3-8, 0-5 NEWMAC) hosted No. 20 Babson (9-4, 5-0 NEWMAC) in a NEWMAC contest and fell 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon from the Corash Tennis Courts.

Doubles: Babson 3, Clark 0

• Graduate student Maeve McEnroe and sophomore Merielle Kane fell 8-0 in number one doubles.
• In number two doubles, first-year Crisi Patel and first-year Olivia Shipley won a game before falling 8-1.
• First-year Winifred Gakidis and junior Emma Allen also took a game in number three play, but dropped the match 8-1.

Singles: Babson 6, Clark 0

• Senior Hannah Russo won a pair of games in the first set before falling 6-0 in the second set.
• First-year Varvara Maltseva won a game in the second set, but dropped the second set 6-0.
• Shipley (No. 2), McEnroe (No. 3), Kane (No. 4), and Gakidis (No. 5) all competed in singles.

What's Next
Clark will return to the field on Saturday morning when they travel to Boston to take on Emerson beginning at 11:00 a.m.
