Women's Tennis
When: Tuesday, September 17 at RIC at 3:30 p.m., Friday, September 20 at Simmons at 3:30 p.m.
What: The Cougars (0-2) began the 2024 portion of their schedule with losses to UMass Dartmouth and Roger Williams. Seniors Amy Marin and Emma Allen recorded their first doubles win of the year with a 6-3 win in number three play. First-year Amanda Keith registered her first career victory with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 against UMass Dartmouth in number three singles. Sophomore Varvara Maltseva (No. 5) and Marin (No. 6) also recorded wins against the Corsairs. RIC (6-0) is led by Arianna De Thomas and Haylie Peacock who each have tallied six singles victories. Peacock and Emilia Houwers have won all five doubles matches they have competed in. Simmons (2-4) is led by Emilie Lapointe and Masha Shutts who have each won four singles bouts. In doubles, Lapointe and Shutts have added five doubles wins together.

Volleyball
When: Tuesday, September 17 at Amherst at 7:00 p.m.
What: The Cougars (6-3) posted a perfect 3-0 record last week with victories over Keene State, Fitchburg State, and Hartford. Clark is led by graduate student Victoria Pastor who has tallied 92 kills and added 80 digs. Senior Camille Sterling has added 81 kills and a team-leading 20 blocks. Graduate students Camille Flurry (67) and Sofia Scherrer del Llano (64) have also recorded over 60 kills. Senior Yvanna Torres (141) and sophomore Julia Dopazo (103) lead the team in assists. Junior Yumeng Liu leads the squad with 124 digs and 15 service aces. Amherst (7-0) is led by Charlotte Rasmussen who has recorded 82 kills. Kinsey Cronin (45), Sofia Camilo (42), and Allie McLaughlin (41) have also registered over 40 kills. Renee Liou has dished out a team-leading 258 assists and 10 service aces.

Men's Soccer
When: Wednesday, September 18 at Eastern Connecticut State at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21 vs. Wheaton at 1:00 p.m.
What: Clark (2-2-2) is set to compete in a non-conference and their first conference fixture of the season. Junior Ben Siegel who has scored four goals and dished out two assists. Senior Lucas Saia has also added four goals. Junior Amechi Aduba, senior Zachary Kratz, and junior Mauro Perez Colon have also scored goals. In net, junior Diego Marin has recorded 32 saves and posted a GAA of 1.67. Eastern Connecticut State (1-2-2) is led by Sean Cafferty who has scored three goals. Niall O'Brien has dished out three assists. Nathan Yeich has stopped 18 shots in goal. Wheaton (3-2-1) will also open NEWMAC play on Saturday and are led by Ryan Bell, Aidan Doyle, and Alasdair Ferrier who have each scored three goals and dished out an assist. Michael O'Gara has recorded 10 saves.

Women's Soccer
When: Wednesday, September 18 vs. Fitchburg State at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21 at Coast Guard at 1:00 p.m.
What: Clark (2-3-0) will play a non-conference home match before opening conference play. First-year Georgia Louis leads the team with four goals and three assists. Junior Emma Shaughnessy has added two goals. Seniors Isabel Echeverry and Isabella Ramirez each have recorded a goal and an assist. In goal, senior Anabella White has recorded 26 saves. Fitchburg State (0-5-0) is led by Stella Liebler and Kayla Prisley have each registered three shots on goal. Madison Dawkins has stopped 49 shots. Coast Guard (0-5-0) is led by Sydney Park and Ella Pottle who have each scored goals. Emily Scharnitzky has recorded 21 saves.

Field Hockey
When: Friday, September 20 vs. Simmons at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21 vs. Babson at 2:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (4-1) recorded victories over Gordon and UMass Dartmouth last week to earn their third and fourth wins of the year. Junior Ciaran Cubbage leads the squad with five goals and 17 shots on target. Junior Jenna Beauchain and graduate student Greer McCarty each have tallied four goals and an assist. Graduate student Rachael Romain has added two goals and an assist. Juniors Elizabeth Cacciapaglia and Alison Kopec have each dished out three assists. In goal, junior Loren Root (15) and sophomore Rachel Reiter (14) lead the team in saves. Simmons (4-1) is led by Anna Tedeschi who has scored eight goals and dished out an assist. Sydney Gonyea has added six goal and an assist. Jamila Mohamed (13) and Trinity Williamson (11) lead the squad in saves. Babson (4-2) is led by Caroline DiGiovanni who has scored four goals and dished out two assists. Berit Sharrow and Helen DiGiovanni have each added two goals. Bayla Furmanek has registered a team-leading 21 saves in net.

Cross Country
When: Men's Cross Country: Saturday, September 21 at UMass Dartmouth at 11:15 a.m., Women's Cross Country: Saturday, September 21 at UMass Dartmouth at 12:00 p.m. 
What: The Cougars are set to compete in their third meet of the season on Saturday morning. First-year Summit Smoker has finished first for Clark in both meets with times of 17:04.0 and 17:15.4. Sophomore Robert Burton has placed third in both events with marks of 18:06.3 and 18:45.5. Senior Ruby Krasnow has earned two NEWMAC Runner of the Week honors with two first-place finishes with times of 18:26.1 and 19:13.9. Senior Lily Carey has finished third and second across the two meets with marks of 20:38.1 and 21:57.5.
 
Men's Tennis
When: Saturday, September 21 at Nichols at 6:00 p.m.  
What: Men's tennis (1-0) will compete in their second match of the season on Saturday at Nichols. Clark topped Roger Williams 5-2 in their season-opener. Junior Edward Shepherd-Johnson and sophomore Aris Kirkorian recorded a 6-1 win in number one doubles. First-year Ziad Tabbara and sophomore Drew Morris registered a 6-3 win in number two action. Senior Ryan Hovey and junior Graham Russo rounded out number three doubles with a 7-5 victory. Morris (No. 3), Tabbara (No. 4), Hovey (No. 5), and Russo (No. 6) also tallied wins in singles. Nichols (0-0) will open their season on Saturday and are led by Richard Hartmann Zuzio who won 11 singles matches a season ago. Hartmann Zuzio and Caio Dieckmann recorded 10 doubles victories.
