WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University women's tennis team (2-0) stormed back after losing the doubles point to come away with a 4-3 win over Lesley (0-3) on Thursday afternoon from the Corash Tennis Courts.

Doubles: Lesley 2, Clark 1

• In number three doubles, senior Crisi Patel and sophomore Amanda Keith registered the first win of the day with a 6-2 victory over Jones and Sutherland.
• Senior Merielle Kane and junior Olivia Shipley battled in number two doubles against Osucha and Stamp, but dropped the match 5-7.
• Sophomore Larkin Gardinier and junior Varvara Maltseva won five games as well in number one, but fell 5-7 to Boyce and Legendre.

Singles: Clark 4, Lesley 2

• Sophomore Chau Quach clinched the match for the scarlet and white with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Jones in number five action.
• Shipley recorded Clark's first point of the day with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Stamp in number four play.
• In number three singles, Kane registered a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Joyce for the second point of the match.
• First-year Cleo Trudeau earned the third point with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Sutherland in number six action.
• Gardinier (No. 1) and Maltseva (No. 2) both dropped their matches 0-6, 1-6.

What's Next
Clark will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Roger Williams to the Corash Tennis Courts for a contest beginning at 12:00 p.m.
