WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University women's tennis team (2-1) suffered their first defeat of 2025 as they fell 7-0 to Roger Williams (4-0) on Saturday afternoon from the Corash Tennis Courts.
Doubles: Roger Williams 3, Clark 0
Singles: Roger Williams 6, Clark 0
- Sophomore Elena Zhakov competed in number six action and won the first set 6-4, dropped the second set 2-6, and fell 2-10 in the tiebreak.
- Kane registered six games won across two sets, but fell 4-6, 2-6 in number three play to Mancini.
- In number two singles, Maltseva tallied five games before dropping the match 2-6, 3-6 to Pecora.
- Gardinier (No. 1) and sophomore Chau Quach (No. 5) were tallied two games won in their losses.
- Keith (No. 4) competed for the scarlet and white against Bache.

The Cougars will return to the court on Tuesday when they welcome RIC to Corash for a clash beginning at 4:00 p.m.
