WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University women's basketball head coach Bridgette Reyes unveiled the Cougars 2026-27 schedule on Thursday morning.
The scarlet and white are set to compete in 25 games this season, with 12 at home and 13 on the road.
"We're really excited about the schedule we've put together for this season," said Reyes. "Our non-conference games will give us some great opportunities to challenge ourselves and continue building as a team, while our NEWMAC schedule will provide the level of competition we expect throughout the season. We're looking forward to getting back on the court, competing in front of our fans, and continuing to grow together throughout the year."
Clark will open the season Friday, November 6 in the Worcester City Tournament against Nichols. They will play either Worcester State or WPI in the consolation or final game depending on the result on Saturday, November 7. The Worcester City Tournament will be held on the campus of WPI. The Cougars will then travel to Curry (Nov. 11) for a non-conference contest.
The scarlet and white will host their home opener on Friday, November 13 when they welcome Tufts to the Kneller. After an away contest at Southern Maine (Nov. 18), Clark will return home for a contest against Albertus Magnus (Nov. 21).
After closing out November with a non-conference match at Wesleyan (Nov. 24), the Cougars will start a three-game homestand opening with Brandeis (Dec. 2), then Trinity (Dec. 5), and concluding with UNE (Dec. 8). Clark then will compete at the NYU Tournament opening against Brooklyn College (Dec. 29) and NYU (Dec. 30).
The Cougars will open up the 2027 portion of their schedule with a pair of home games against Salem State (Jan. 5) and Connecticut College (Jan. 12). Clark is slated to open NEWMAC play with a road contest at MIT (Jan. 16). After a road contest at Wheaton (Jan. 20), the scarlet and white will host their first NEWMAC game vs. Mount Holyoke (Jan. 23).
After a home contest against Springfield (Jan. 27), the Cougars will travel to Coast Guard (Jan. 30) and Salve Regina (Feb. 3) for conference games. Clark returns home for games against Smith (Feb. 6) and Wellesley (Feb. 10) before traveling to Babson (Feb. 13). The Cougars will close out the season with a road contest at Emerson (Feb. 17) and a home game against WPI (Feb. 20).
