Box Score Nashua, N.H. - Behind a complete game
performance from senior ace Jon Merritt (Milton,
Mass.), Clark University baseball defeated host Daniel Webster
College, 12-1 to ensure the first non-losing season in the
85-season history of the program on Thursday afternoon.

win shy of tying the school-record for wins in a season, set back
in 2005.
Merritt won his school-record seventh game of the year and senior

DeMartino (East Haven, Conn.), who went over the 100
career hit mark in a win over UMass-Boston on Tuesday, tied the
school record with 47 hits this season.

going a perfect 4 for 4 just missing the cycle with a single,
double and triple, and knocked in four runs.
Ron Bathrick (North Haven. Conn.) added a 3 for 5
day for the winners, knocking in two runs, while Nick
Kellogg (Florence, Mass.) went 3 for 4 with a double and

Lamothe (Bellingham) knocked in two runs.

allowing one first inning run and striking out 12 and walking just
two. David Wesson took the loss (1-4) for the Eagles.
Clark took control with three-unearned runs in the fourth that
included a two-run double from DiMarco.
The Cougars would push four across in the sixth on four hits and
