Box Score Keene, N.H. – Keene State freshman
Jessica Berthiaume had a hand in each of the Owls goals and host
KSC shut out visiting Clark University 2-0 in non-league
women's soccer action on Wednesday evening.
The win improves Keene State's mark to 6-1-2, while the Cougars
slip to 3-4. During its current six-game unbeaten streak, the Owls

shutouts.
KSC got on the board first when Berthiaume scored her
team-leading eighth goal of the season with help from Sia
Karamourtopoulos in the 35th minute.
The Owls found the back of the net again just moments into the
second half when Berthiaume set up Kelsie Bailey for the 2-0
edge.
Keene State then clamped down on defense and allowed only one
Clark shot in the second half. The Owls outshot the Cougars 15-4
for the contest.
Joanna Clark (Windham, Maine) made ten stops
for the Scarlet and White, while KSC netminder Megan Dempsey needed
to only turn back two shots to post her fifth shutout of the season
and extended her scoreless streak to 338:50.
The Owls return to action on Saturday when they travel to
Eastern Connecticut State, while the road gets tougher for the
Cougars who return home Saturday to face nationally-ranked
Wheaton.
