WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University field hockey team is set to travel to Costa Rica from Wednesday, June 25 to Tuesday, July 1.
The Cougars are set to arrive in Costa Rica on Wednesday night before heading to Irazu Volcano and Cartago Basilica AD Ruins on Thursday morning. After the tours, Clark will compete in their first game against El Salvador's National Team at 2:00 p.m. (CST).
On Friday morning, the scarlet and white will play their second game of the trip against the Costa Rican National Team at 9:00 a.m. (CST). After the game, the Cougars will receive a cooking lesson before heading to Manual Antonio.
Field hockey will then head to Cerros Elementary School on Saturday morning to help them enhance their field hockey skills and play games. Later in the afternoon the team will take a zipline tour at Cara Adventure Canopy.
On Sunday, the Cougars will take a Catamaran Boat Ride and snorkel before closing out the trip with another volunteer opportunity at Playa Hermosa Refuge.
