Lee was a four-year member of the softball team and graduated from Clark in 2002. She finished her career as Clark's all-time leader as a batter in hits (229), at-bats (524), doubles (42), home runs (27), RBI's (183), total bases (366) and as a pitcher, she leads the program in career shutouts (18), strikeouts (447), no-hitters (3), while finishing second all-time with a 1.27 career ERA.

Lee helped guide Clark to a 107-44 record over her four years, a third-place finish in the NCAA Tournament New England Regional, an ECAC Tournament Final, an ECAC Semifinal appearance, and two NEWMAC Semifinal appearances, Lee also earned NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, was a four-time NEWMAC All-Conference player, a four-time NFCA Regional All-American, a four-time NEISCA All-New England player, a four-time ECAC All-New England player, and reached the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team in 1999.
